We sailed in absolute luxury. We booked a Haven Suite on the Norwegian Bliss and it was heaven. We left a rainy Seattle after meeting up with some cruise buddies of ours for coffee and set sail for Sitka, Juneau, Icy Straight Point and Ketchikan. We also stopped for a couple hours in Victoria, BC before heading back to Seattle. We lucked out with beautiful weather and met some amazing people!

The best thing about the Haven is the exclusivity of it all. Our own pool, lounge and restaurant and bar. Priority elevators for embarking and disembarking. Food all day long. 24/7 butler. No fighting or missing out on chairs anywhere. A helpful staff ready to get you anything you might want, anytime. It was truly a magical experience that we will try to do as often as possible in the future!

In Sitka, we booked a non-NCL excursion through Trip Advisor: the Simply Amazing Sitka Tour. It was amazing! And left us with enough time to walk around and see the tiny town of Sitka and stop in at a local restaurant for some King Crab and halibut nuggets - amazing! In Juneau we kayaked and got to see seals and eagles in the wild, and even had a whale visit our inlet while we were in our boats. I would highly recommend this! We had a spa day on board in ISP which was divine. Seaweed wrap and a couples massage is the way to go! We had an unpleasant surprise and decided to cancel our salmon fishing excursion in Ketchikan due to it not being salmon season, and not being able to keep anything we caught. But we made up for it with a Wildlife Adventure and Crab Feast - some of the freshest, tastiest Dungeness Crab I've ever had! One thing I wish Norwegian would do is give us premium port position. Every port required a shuttle to go into town, although other cruise ships were docked in town. It really eats into the experience (and time at port!) when you have to wait and travel by shuttle and back to each town.
