What type of cruiser are you? Do you dream of fun and thrills on the vast ocean or love intimate luxury winding through the country? Maybe a little of both? Let me help you find the type of cruise that is right for you!

River Cruise Lines:
These cruises are on smaller, more intimate ships that travel through a country along its rivers, usually with no more than 250 guests on board (depending on the line). Your drinks, food and wi-fi are generally included, and excursions are sometimes included in the trip. Some ships have other entertainment like casinos, live entertainment and pools, but not all.

Solo Traveler? Excursions Where do they sail? min. Age
Viking solo supplement on occasion excursions included Primarily Europe and Asia, some US 18+
AMA Waterways single supplement available excursions included Primarily Europe and Asia, some US 4+
Avalon Waterways solo supplement on select excursions not included Europe, Asia, Africa and South America 9+

Ocean Cruise Lines:
Ocean cruises are the one you've most likely have seen and heard about! These are often massive ships that hold thousands of people and are often called floating hotels. They have pools, live entertainment like comedy, Broadway shows and more and (with the exception of Disney) casinos on board. Most are family friendly (with the exception of Virgin, where you must be 18+) and have programs and activities for everyone in the family. There are usually multiple restaurants of all kinds, a spa and some even have carousels, race tracks, escape rooms, roller coasters, ice skating rinks and dry slides! Their voyages can be anywhere from 2 to 200 days long and will go all over the world.
